MARYLAND SPRING FOOTBALL GAME
When the University of Maryland wanted to televise its annual Red-White spring football game for the first time ever, it turned to Kitay Productions. Last weekend, KPI produced and directed the telecast, which has since been broadcast on both Comcast SportsNet and College Sports TV (CSTV).
Working on only two weeks' notice, KPI put together a 25-person crew, acquired a mobile unit from Telenium Video of Philadelphia, edited an all-new open and roll-in packages, updated the graphics, and created the commercial format for the game. Johnny Holliday, Tim Strachan and Matt Noble served as the announce team.
The show was also simulcast on radio across the Baltimore and Washington markets on ESPN Radio 1300 and WMAL.
