GARY WILLIAMS SHOW COMPLETES SEASON
Following tonight's broadcast on Comcast SportsNet, Kitay Proudctions completed production on its fourth season at the helm of the "Gary Williams Show," the official television program of Maryland basketball.
The 2009-10 Terrapins were a surprise, sharing the ACC regular season title with the Duke Blue Devils. The seven episode series began with a behind-the-scenes all-access show inside fall training, and followed the team all the way through the NCAA Tournament.
Each lively thirty-minute episode was shot live-to-tape with mutliple cameras, using the video scoreboard control room at the team's home arena, the Comcast Center. The show was directed by company president Joel Kitay, and featured Terps' radio voice Johnny Holliday and Gary Williams on a set in a different location inside the arena each week. Kitay Productions pre-produced several features for each show, as well as all of the roll-in packages and other content.
The show is partnership between Kitay Productions, Inc., and The MediaWorks.
