ON THE WARPATH WITH THE REDSKINS
Kitay Productions played a key role behind the scenes in the just completed season for the Washington Redskins.
First, company president Joel Kitay was hired as the Executive Producer for the video scoreboard show at FedExField for the Redskins' ten home games. Kitay coordinated the video production, managed the on-field presentations, directed the crowd prompts, coordinated the timeout content, and selected music for the show. It was a homecoming of sorts for Kitay, who had produced the Redskins' official highlight video in 1994, while working as an employee of NFL Films. It also marked Kitay's return to the NFL, as he last worked as an employee of the Cleveland Browns/Baltimore Ravens from 1995-2002.
Additionally, Kitay Productions directed the studio shoots for the "Jim Zorn Show," and performed the weekly editing at the Redskins' training facility to deliver the weekly show to WRC-4 (NBC) for broadcast on Saturday evenings. Kitay Productions helped streamline the overall production process, worked closely with the show talent, and designed the key graphics and animations used within the show and on the set.
