MARYLAND FOOTBALL CONTINUES ?FIGHTING BACK?
For the fifth consecutive season, Kitay Productions has finished production of the annual highlight video for the University of Maryland football team. The 2005 video is titled "Fighting Back," and re-counts the story of the team's battle to return to the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference. "Fighting Back" is the only official highlight video of Maryland's season.
"Fighting Back" will be used as a key component in Maryland's recruiting effort, and will also be put on continuous display inside the Gossett Team House Hall of Fame. The video made its debut at the team's annual awards banquet.
Production of the highlight video is significantly aided by Kitay Productions' role as the video scoreboard production team at Byrd Stadium. This allows Kitay Productions to capture up to six different angles of any play during the Terps' home season. Additionally, Kitay Productions dispatched ENG crews to other select games, and "miked up" coach Ralph Friedgen for the season opener vs. Navy at M&T Bank Stadium, the home of the Baltimore Ravens. Lastly, "Fighting Back" includes interview with key players, including likely NFL first round draft pick TE Vernon Davis.
Kitay Productions also worked closely with JP Sports and ESPN, holders of game broadcast rights for the Terps, throughout the season. These broadcast outlets and Kitay Productions shared resources to provide Maryland with comprehensive coverage at every game.
